The Website is owned by Medversal LLC, 2300 Riverside Drive, Green Bay, WI 54301 (“Medversal”), which provides an online marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with healthcare employers through user-directed profiles and information sharing. Medversal does not act as an employer or make employment decisions on behalf of employers.

  1. DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

A. Personal Information You Provide

 

When you create or maintain a profile and subsequently interact with our Services, we may collect:

  • your biographical and contact information (e.g., full name, email address, phone number);
  • your professional information (professional designation, healthcare role, professional experience, biographical information, state(s) and area(s) of licensure, license numbers); and
  • your desired work details, including desired location(s), compensation and benefits (desired annual compensation, desired vacation or time off, desired hours, preferences regarding on-call work, availability parameters, other desired employment conditions, desired benefits, etc.).

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide through the Services is accurate, complete, and up to date.

B. Information Collected Automatically

 

When you visit the Website or use our Services, we may automatically collect:

  • your Internet Protocol (IP) address;
  • information about your browser and device;
  • information about pages you view and interactions you have with the Website;
  • dates and times of access; and
  • referring or exit pages.

B. Professional or Employment-Related Information

We collect professional and employment-related information, including:

  • professional designation and healthcare role;
  • professional experience and biographical information;
  • state(s) and area(s) of licensure;
  • professional license numbers; and
  • interest or participation in professional matching or employment-related services.

 

C. Commercial Information

We collect information related to professional preferences and engagement, such as:

  • desired work location(s);
  • desired annual compensation;
  • desired vacation or time off;
  • desired hours per week;
  • preferences or limitations regarding on-call work;
  • availability parameters;
  • desired benefits and other employment conditions.

 

D. Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information

We collect information regarding interaction with our Website and Services, including:

  • browser and device information;
  • pages viewed and interactions with the Website or Services;
  • dates and times of access; and
  • referring or exit pages.

We do not draw health-related or biometric inferences, nor do we draw inferences regarding an individual’s physical or mental health condition, diagnosis, treatment, or health status, and we do not use professional, credentialing, or employment-related information to infer or derive health-related characteristics.

 

We use automated tools and processes, including filtering, sorting, and matching, to support the operation of the Services. These automated processes may be used to organize and display user-provided information based solely on criteria selected by users and non-binding Signals provided by users within the Services.

 

No automated processing, inference, or functionality within the Services evaluates, scores, ranks, recommends, or determines an individual’s qualifications, suitability, employability, character, or eligibility for employment or engagement, and no such processing is used to make or support employment or adverse decisions. Decisions regarding hiring, engagement, or employment outcomes are ultimately made by users and employers, subject to their own criteria and processes.

 

G. Sensitive Personal Information

Certain information we collect, such as professional license numbers and precise geolocation (if collected), may constitute Sensitive Personal Information under Applicable Privacy Laws. We use such information only as permitted by law and solely for purposes related to providing the Services, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

 

H. Information Received from Third Parties

We may receive limited personal information from third parties, such as:

  • licensing entities with which you are affiliated; and
  • service providers supporting our platform operations.

We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.

Your profile is completely anonymous to employers until you explicitly choose to reveal your identity. Employers can see your healthcare qualifications, requirements, and preferences, but not your name or contact information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and administer the Services, including creating and maintaining user profiles and enabling participation in professional or employment-related services at your direction.
  • To facilitate professional matching and related services, including presenting opportunities, preferences, and availability information as requested by you.
  • To communicate with you, including responding to inquiries, providing service-related notices, and facilitating communications through the platform.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Website and Services, including monitoring usage, troubleshooting, and improving functionality.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of the Services, including detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, misuse, circumvention of platform terms, or other unlawful or prohibited activity.
  • To enforce our agreements and comply with legal obligations, including recordkeeping, audits, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.

We may use cookies and similar technologies, but only to operate and improve the Website, understand usage patterns, and maintain security. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising; we do not sell or share personal information through cookies; and we honor recognized opt-out signals where required by applicable law.

We disclose personal information only as necessary to provide the Services and operate our business, as described below.

 

A. Service Providers

We may disclose personal information to service providers that perform Services on our behalf, such as hosting, data storage, communications, security, analytics, or other operational support. These service providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to perform Services for us and in accordance with applicable contractual obligations.

 

B. Employers and Professional Counterparties

Where you direct us to do so through your use of the Services, we may disclose relevant profile information, preferences, or availability to employers or other professional counterparties in connection with professional or employment-related services.

 

Such disclosure occurs progressively and only to the extent and at the time selected by the Candidate through profile visibility and sharing controls. The information disclosed to employers through the Services is limited by the profile visibility and sharing settings selected by the Candidate. Employers’ use of personal information obtained through the Services is governed by their own privacy policies and employment practices, and Medversal is not responsible for such use.

 

C. Third-Party Databases

We may disclose limited identifying information, such as a professional license number and a user-provided identifier, to third-party databases that index professional license information—solely for the purpose of matching such information against existing records to confirm platform access requirements.

 

Such matching is administrative in nature and is not conducted for employment, credentialing, screening, suitability, or eligibility determinations, and does not constitute verification, evaluation, or certification of professional qualifications.

 

D. Legal and Compliance Disclosures

We may disclose personal information where required to do so by law or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with laws or regulations;
  • respond to lawful requests from public authorities;
  • enforce our agreements;
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of the platform, our users, or others; or
  • detect, prevent, or address fraud, misuse, or security issues.

 

E. No Sale or Advertising Sharing

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

 

F. Business Transfers

If Medversal is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this Privacy Policy.

Your data is used exclusively for:

  • Matching you with relevant job opportunities
  • Allowing verified employers to find qualified candidates
  • Improving our platform’s functionality and user experience

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

 

A. Account Deletion and Post-Deletion Retention

If you delete your account or request deletion of your personal information, we will delete or de-identify personal information in accordance with applicable law. However, certain information may be retained for a limited period after account deletion where reasonably necessary to:

  • detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, misuse, or circumvention of our agreements or Services;
  • confirm compliance with contractual obligations, including confirmation that professional introductions, engagements, or placements facilitated through the Services were not circumvented;
  • enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, or respond to claims; or
  • comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, or audit obligations.

B. Scope and Limitation of Retained Information

Any information retained after account deletion is limited in scope and used solely for the purposes described above. Retained information is restricted to what is reasonably necessary for audit, compliance, and enforcement purposes and is not used for advertising, marketing, analytics, or other unrelated purposes.

 

C.  Retention Period

Where applicable, limited records may be retained for up to twenty-four (24) months following account deletion to support contractual non-circumvention periods, audit, compliance, and enforcement needs. After this period, such information is deleted or de-identified unless further retention is required or permitted by law.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal and professional information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Our security measures include, as appropriate:

B.  Access Controls

Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who require such access to perform their duties and who are subject to confidentiality and security obligations.

 

C.  Employer Access

Healthcare employers may access profile information only in accordance with platform controls, visibility settings selected by the Candidate, and platform access and authentication procedures. Employers are prohibited from using information obtained through the platform for purposes outside the scope of authorized professional engagement. Employers are solely responsible for independently evaluating Candidates and may not rely on information obtained through the Services to make employment, engagement, credentialing, screening, or eligibility decisions.

 

D.  HIPAA and Healthcare Data

Medmerity is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate and does not process protected health information. We nonetheless apply reasonable safeguards to protect professional and credentialing information consistent with generally accepted security practices.

 

E.  No Absolute Security Guarantee

Although we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should take appropriate steps to protect their account credentials and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Certain rights described herein apply specifically to California residents under the CCPA/CPRA. You have control over your personal information and how it is used in connection with the Services, and the following rights are available to you to the extent required by applicable law:

 

A. Access and Portability

You may request to access the personal information we maintain about you, including the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, and receive a copy of your information in a portable format. Privacy rights requests do not apply to information that has been aggregated or de-identified such that it cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.

You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information in your profile. You may also update most profile information directly through your account settings.

 

C. Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal information or delete your account at any time.

Please note that certain limited information may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary to:

  • confirm compliance with contractual obligations, including non-circumvention requirements;
  • enforce our agreements or resolve disputes; or
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

 

D. Control of Visibility and Sharing

You control how and when your information is shared through the Services, including the ability to:

  • keep your profile private;
  • allow anonymous viewing by verified healthcare employers; or
  • reveal your identity only to specific employers.

Where applicable, you have the right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information, as defined under Applicable Privacy Laws, subject to permitted legal exceptions.

 

F. Exercising Your Rights

To exercise your privacy rights, please contact us using the information provided herein. We may need to verify your identity and the nature of your request before processing certain requests, consistent with applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification of the agent’s authority, which may include written authorization signed by you or other documentation as required by applicable law and, where required, verification of your identity. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally within 45 days, with one additional 45-day extension possible). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights under applicable law.

  • professional license numbers and credential verification information;

  • provide and administer the Services requested by you;
  • perform limited administrative, access-control checks solely to confirm platform access requirements, and not for employment, credentialing, screening, or eligibility decisions;

  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, misuse, or circumvention of our agreements; and
  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

 

B. Limitation Rights

Where applicable, residents of California and other jurisdictions may have the right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information, subject to legal exceptions that permit use for service provision, security, fraud prevention, and compliance. Medversal is based in the United States, and the Services are intended for users located in the United States. Such access does not change the location where personal information is processed or stored.
